Pet peeves, who doesn't have them? I can tell you for sure that I have a lot. Trust me, if I were to list them all, this wouldn't be a simple blog post, it would be more of a novel.
I made a questioner on my Instagram asking what some of your pet peeves were and I got a few replies, so I am going to post them here and share my thoughts on them.
First, we have, Slow walkers in the school hallways.
I can not explain how much this annoys me. Not just in school, but slow walkers in general. This is actually my BIGGEST pet peeve. I hate how people love to walk in front of you but at a much slower rate as if the person behind you doesn't have a place to be and things to do. If you're going to cut in front of someone when you're walking, WALK FASTER! Same rule in driving. You don't just intercept a person before you in a lane driving in a highway and drive much slower, you're definitely going to get into an accident doing that. WALK WITH A PURPOSE, OTHERWISE DON'T WALK IN FRONT OF ME! Anything slow just annoys me. I'm a pretty fast pace person.
Next, we have, people breathing with their mouth open.
This isn't a big pet peeve for me but in some cases, this does annoy me, especially when they are either hovering over you or doing it right by your ear. I get it when you're sick, but does it seriously have to be constantly, even when you aren't? The sound is pretty annoying and disgustingly distracting. For example, hearing a person chew with their mouth open. It's not something someone would want to hear, when it comes to breathing, something a person would want to hear, feel, and smell.
Last, we have, when a girl hits you for no reason.
I honestly don't know why people love to hit others so much, but yes, that can get pretty annoying after a while, especially when you aren't in the mood for joking around. Imagine having a bad day and someone just comes up to you and smacks you in the head, or punches you somewhere. You laugh it off the first couple of times, but we all have to admit, after the third, or fourth hit, that becomes pretty annoying. Then, that is where the actual fight breaks out. When it comes to this, people need to see when someone is in the mood and when they aren't because that leads to misconception. I honestly don't like it when you can be peacefully in your little world, then someone comes and punches you out of it, then after telling them to stop and showing signs of discomfort, they keep going. Sometimes that honestly angers me. This is why they have these sort of things against the rules in school, but we can all admit sometimes it can get a little too much. No horseplaying, sure I get, but there is nothing wrong with giving a person a hug or a high-five. I've never understood why schools penalize students for that.
