How to know whether a girl likes you. *not my idea*

I just want to start off by saying, this was NOT my idea. This was actually an idea given to me by someone I know. Apparently, he claims he's clueless in this and I decided what the heck. I mean, I'm not a normal girl, especially a girl who is in tune with her feelings, so I can't speak for the female population. That's why I had multiple other girls speak for our population instead. They all said pretty much the same thing so I'm just going to assume it's true, I'm clueless in this myself *CEO of being a holy child.* Hopefully, this helps all you other clueless male specimens. Although, in my opinion, I don't think it's hard to see if a particular person has a big interest in you, if you don't see it maybe you're just blind or stupid, I don't know.

So one response I got was "Tell him."

Seems easy enough, but even I can say this is unlikely. The reason why girls find it so hard to come out straight forward like that is because of the fear of rejection. That's why they do a bunch of other things to maneuver their way around that and try to show you how they feel, at the same time learn whether or not you're interested. But trust me, there are those brave souls that will come right out and tell you. Guess that made your life easy huh.

"They act more like themselves around you all the time, and when they feel you guys are getting close, tell them straight up and if you’re too shy, flirt or compliment them until they ask you, and if they don’t there’re bums."

Another indicator. Personally, I feel this is the one that is most commonly used, but at the same time, it's really overused. I mean if a girl is talking with you that's one thing, but if they go out of their way to feel really comfortable and open with you, AND FLIRT, shouldn't that be a sign in itself? But I can understand how this can be really confusing because there are some people who just have friendly relationships that just run like that. I guess you just have to be aware of the little things and pay attention to how she feels and acts around you compared to others, or like her other friends if you believe she's the flirtatious type.

But seriously though, boys, if you have a gut feeling why not just run with it, why have to drag everything out and over complicate things?

Okay, next one says, "Start conversations or like their Instagram pictures."

I never really thought social media was a clear answer for anything. I live under a rock so I really don't know how any of this liking picture thing goes. I guess if a girl is really active on your accounts and likes and comments on a lot of your things, maybe she does have an interest in you, or maybe she just likes the pictures you take. I really don't see how seeing a girl's name under the "liked" thing on Instagram is of any help, but I guess if its something constant and she's like EVERYWHERE, then maybe.

So the rest of the replies I received are pretty much the same thing; comfortableness, flirting, going out of their way to constantly make an excuse to be around you or talk to you, being interested in your likes, noticing the really small things. Pretty much the obvious things a blind man could see.

If my opinion means anything, if a girl really likes you and doesn't do anything above, she could still pass signs. For example, always making it a habit to expose herself around you. Making sure she's always in your viewpoint. Walking past you, constant glances in the same room. Doing the things you do, or she may do/wear something that just HAPPENS to catch your attention. What she'll do is try to indirectly stand out in your eyes, If she does that then you know she's into you. She may even try to become one of the bros, get within the friend group. I don't know.
